Cookies are pieces of information that a website transfers to your computer's hard disk for record-keeping purposes. Cookies can make the Web more useful by storing information about your preferences for a particular site. How is personally identifiable information safeguarded?
LMHOA and our website hosting provider, HOA Express, utilize industry standard methods and mechanisms such as firewalls, data encryption, intrusion monitoring, and passwords to protect electronic information. Access to PII is limited to a small number of individuals on a need-to-know basis, or as granted by the user to other website members.
However, password maintenance is the sole responsibility of the user. LMHOA website administrators do not have access to individual user passwords. The user should create strong passwords consisting of a random string of upper and lower case letters, numbers, and special characters. Passwords should not include items that are easily guessed, such as addresses, zip codes, birthdates, family member names, etc. Random strings consisting of three or more of the above types of characters are advisable. Passwords should be at least eight characters long. Users are responsible for the use and protection of their password. Passwords should not be shared. Users are responsible for any use of this website provided by or made available through, the user's protected login information for this site.
